Weekly Wireless Institute of Australia News Broadcast

On Sunday mornings at 10:00 hours local  time the WIA National news broadcast will be relayed from Amateur Radio N.S.W. VK2WI via the 146.850MHz Maddens Plains Repeater and the 146.675Mhz Knights Hill Repeater. Together they cover Sydney, Wollongong and Shellharbour.

Immediately following this National Amateur Radio news program, Amateur Radio New South Wales will commence the N.S.W. local news broadcast.   This broadcast commences approximately 10:30 Hours.

On Sunday evening at 19:30 Hours local time, the New South Wales local news will be repeated. Once again this will be relayed via our Maddens Plains and Knights Hill repeaters.

    The Radio and Electronics School is a great online resource for those who are starting out or seeking to upgrade  their current qualifications.  Established in 1997 by Ron Bertrand the schools range of online courses covers everything from the Foundation to the Advanced Licience. Volunteer facilitators are provided to help through the courses.
